During March 2011 Lloyd Davis travelled coast to coast across the USA from San Francisco to New York City via a crowd of people from his online social network, making daily decisions with help from readers of his blog, Twitter and Facebook.

He came back with stories of the Sauna in Seattle, Mardi gras in Milwaukee and Making Cheese in Maine. Join Lloyd and his ukulele on a heart-warming ramble over 8,000 miles of railway track and the spare rooms and sofa beds of suburban America.

Falafel with tzatziki dip, lightly fried halloumi skewers, spicy potatoes with crème fraîche and sweet chilli, marinated olives, humus and pita bread.
